He came to the world as healthy and beautiful as any other lucky newborn. His wealthy family taught him what it takes to succeed in life, what it means to be a good member of society. To increase his chances of succeeding as a worthy part of the family, they offered him the best opportunities money can buy.

He learned that he needs to take care of himself first. He understood that in life, one must be competitive to deserve a space at the top. His society recognizes and awards the few ones that take the opportunities despite the difficulties, so he does until today.

Along the way, he found that staying at the top isn’t easy. He feared losing what he got. He grew suspicious of others trying to get profits from him. Despite his struggle, he managed to capture the envy and imagination of all the others that could not reach his wealth and power.
He thought to himself, “I’m a rich man, I give jobs to thousands, improve the life of my customers, the people around me like me for who I really am, I’m at the top of the world, I am a good citizen and a worthy member of my family.”

Having still life to leave, he wanted to find something else to try and achieve. Something that could overshadow the inevitable misfortunes he had to endure, all-natural of such wild and ambitious ride through life. He aspired to become the most powerful man in the world. He desired the presidency of the United States of America.

Just today, he felt afraid, confused, and angry because many people can’t recognize his success in life, “Why they disapprove of me? Why are they mad at me? If I did everything exactly as instructed. They didn’t succeed; they didn’t look for themselves; they are not competitive enough; they didn’t take the opportunities despite the obstacles. They would like to do what I did, win the elections, be a world change maker.”

I think I know now what we need to change. We are all victims and responsible for our lack of wisdom.
